GPC, Global Privacy Control, is an internet-standard which allows a user to pass (via a Chrome extension or other mechanism) a flag to any site they are on, asking the site not to track them. By utilizing GPC, we can add more privacy controls into the lockrMail chrome extension, communicating users' privacy preferences across the web. The new Chrome extension will have built-in GPC support. lockrMail users will be able to allow or disable tracking on any site (regardless of whether that site is linked to their lockrMail email). Users will also be able to control global and domain-level GPC settings in their lockrMail dashboard.
