AutoBlock

The default lockrMail setting is that initial emails from new Senders are allowed through to a user’s primary Destination email address until they decide to Block or set up a Filter for that Sender. With the new AutoBlock setting, users will be able to reverse this setting and block emails from new Senders by default - only allowing emails through if they enable a Filter, switch a Sender to Allow or manually deliver a particular communication.

You asked and we listened! By enabling our new AutoBlock setting, initial emails from new Senders will all be blocked by default, until you decide to Allow or set up a Filter for that Sender. Learn how to set up Autoblock: https://lockrmail.com/tutorial/enabling-autoblock/
Pro Tip: When enabling AutoBlock, we recommend switching lockrBox to daily delivery, to ensure you see any important emails in a timely manner.

I like this feature insofar as the default function is allow (which it sounds like it would be).
In my head, I'm thinking there's a possible use-case for a person to have two Lockr accounts (which would be suboptimal so we wouldn't want to condone). One for auto allow and one for auto block.
As an alternative,
Is there a way that a certain version of a lockrmail could auto block? For example, my email is ken@lockrmail. If I gave Ken+block@lockrmail.com to a retailer, could those auto block? I think that would be a cool add on to this feature.

Kenneth Gilberg: always love your ideas. This is certainly something we can strive for in a future update. We would need to balance our focus on maintaining a single publicly-facing email address without the addition of "+block" with the user's choice. We have added this to our internal feature-requests sheet. I will post something publicly shortly!
